#MHAM Day 6 Still behind :)

Day 6 of the Blog Challenge and I can’t seem to get in the swing of things..

But, then I have haven’t been an everyday blogger since the get go..SO..

Day 6: What song gives you hope?

Here it is.

“Superheroes” by the Script

This makes me cry every time I hear it. But by the time I’m done.. I know those little Superheroes are gonna fly. One way or another. See, I picture my son, Chewy, and a bunch of nameless sick kids in hospital gowns running or bed-ridden hooked up to hospital machines. Parents crying silently next to their little kids most likely because they have no idea what is wrong with them, or how to fix them. Mainly because we were there with Chewy and his CVS(migraine variant). I heard this song for the first time a couple months after we got home with Chewy after he had been in the Hospital for 21 Days straight. He’d had a feeding tube and things had been very rough. But it’s always darkest before the dawn. I also know that there are kids out there that don’t make it.. Regardless of what they have. So whether they are flying because they are finally healthy and being regular kids, or because they are angels..

This song gives me hope that there are Doctors out there that can help. They had written Chewy off as being un-helpable. But putting up a fight and pushing for more.. got him a team of Doctors  that saw him. Saw what others gave up on. I hope that others get the help that we did.
