I’m Twitchy

I started struggling with random eye ticks several years after my migraines started. The more my migraines morphed, or the TIA’s happened, the more side effects I had. Of course I blame a lot of those on the meds they just kept increasing.

But a few years ago I developed eye ticks. Random eye twitching that is really down right annoying. It doesn’t really affect your vision except for when it twitches SO much that it CLOSES the eye completely, or mostly. :/

I think they became almost constant after my third.. TIA. Or what my Neuro classifies as a TIA because it was so out of the ordinary. And My one eyelid kind of droops now. So I guess that would put it in the TIA category due to the physical effect it had on me.

Now a few years later, and quite a few Botox therapies later.. I hadn’t realized that the spasms had dissipated.

That was until I was a month over due on my Botox treatment, because we had to put our CVS’r in the hospital and rescheduling one of those Botox treatments is a nightmare.. But now, even as I sit here trying to type this out.. I feel like a Cheeky PIrate.. Flirting with my computer..

I can only imagine what the guy in the Starbucks drive-thru thought this morning.. Ugh.

I’m going to have to go into hiding.

Or Buy an Eye Patch.

Appreciate the thought.. but the botox isn’t for cosmetic appeal.. It’s for migraines.

Completely understand. Hope your migraines lessen soon! My mother and sister both deal with really nasty migraines and have been through the ringer trying to get answers and treatment!
